Regarded as two of Nashville’s leading skin experts, co-founders Summer Moore and Lily Thuresson spent years traveling the globe in search of something that seemed to be missing from the city's beauty & wellness industry: a sweet space where clinical, world-class results could seamlessly coexist with genuine, unhurried warmth and Southern hospitality.

Our goal was to move past the sterile, rushed atmosphere of modern skincare clinics, while completely evolving the traditional 'fluff & buff' spa facial. We replaced mass-market products and minimal results with sophisticated, hyper-customized treatments from France, Switzerland, Australia and South Africa to genuinely transform your skin.

We envisioned a true Spa Sanctuary in the heart of Nashville's Nations neighborhood—a space defined not just by its soft textures, quiet luxury, and quintessential Southern hospitality, but by its extraordinary standard of care.

We have intentionally paired an unhurried, welcoming atmosphere with world-class European protocols and an exclusively curated portfolio of hard-to-find international products.

It is a masterful harmony where elite, results-driven skin science meets a deeply comforting place to land.

The Chase for the Holy Grail

Our journey to opening Luxe & Luna wasn’t a straight line; it was a pursuit of perfection. That pursuit took us across the globe, from Paris to Johannesburg and eventually landing us in New York City to experience a cult-classic, holy grail treatment: the Biologique Recherche Remodeling Face Machine at Rescue Spa.

"It was the most extraordinary facial I had ever experienced," Summer recalls. "The treatment and products changed my skin so fast, and so dramatically, that we looked at each other and realized we absolutely could not open our future spa without it."

Determined to bring that Parisian skin magic back to Tennessee, we spent three years meticulously building our business plan and navigating a highly exclusive, rigorous application process to become Biologique Recherche's most successful spa partner in the state of Tennessee, and shortly after becoming Nashville's exclusive Valmont spa partner.

Dreaming Against the Odds

In May of 2020, our dream was finally ready.

The universe, however, had other plans.

We officially opened our doors at the absolute height of a worldwide pandemic.

"It was a terrifying time to launch," Summer says. "The world was telling everyone to stay six feet apart, and we were opening a business where we had to be six inches away from someone's face."

But for Lily, a Ukrainian immigrant who had nurtured the dream of American business ownership since moving to the U.S. in the nineties, waiting it out was never an option.

Gratefully, the Nashville community felt our intention. Our earliest clients stepped into our bright, clean, open sanctuary, trusted our safety protocols, and allowed us to hold space for them during one of the most stressful chapters in history.

As Nashville Lifestyles beautifully noted, we quickly became "one of the most sought-after boutique spas in the South."
